My son has two older sisters and lives in a house that has over the years been a haven for fairies.  From fairy dwellings my daughters have made in our gardens, to the fairy doors in their bedrooms, my son has grown up surrounded by these tiny creatures.  But he is six now, and he feels the gnomes of the fairy world should be better represented. DIY Fairy Door Kit party

One of our customers, Lyndsey, had a great idea for a party.  Since she and some of her friends were each about to move out of Ann Arbor, scattering to cities across the United States,  Lyndsey decided to host a Fairy Door Painting and Decorating Party. Wool Felt Pillow

I am always perusing the Pottery Barn and Crate and Barrel catalog for design ideas.  I look at the pillows and think, I could make that for way less than the usual $75+ price tag. So after noticing the tone-on-tone and textured pillows were drawing me in, I tackled this ruffled pillow design and I am loving it! Fairy Door Fun

So here in Ann Arbor, Michigan the Fairies have taken over the city and given quite a bit of magic to families around town.  The Fairies appear to inhabit any home that installs a door for them.  We created some DIY kits for you to create some of this magic and lore for your own home.  My own girls delight in leaving messages and tokens for Fairies and especially love the Fairy responses (my favorite are the reminders that Fairies like things neat and tidy!)
